Steve Vaile

Steve Vaile has over 30 years of international business experience. He began his career as a Royal Navy engineer at the age of 16 in the late 1980s, just as the Navy was computerising its critical systems, and then went on to spend 18 years in deep tech, specialising in Causal Analysis for telecommunications and defence networks in senior technical and commercial roles.

He lived and worked in Asia for 13 years, where he built and sold a technology business, helped establish the Cambodian Credit Bureau, and served as the founder and CEO of an international hospitality group.

Steve holds executive credentials in Venture Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Oxford and Digital Strategy from Yale University, a dual Master's in International Business Administration from the Rome Business School and Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU), along with a BTEC in electrical engineering from the Royal Navy.

Steve is a recognised expert in deep technology operational risk and resilience, a board member and co-founder of QSECDEF, Consulting Director at Applied Quantum, and holds board advisory roles in the UK, France and Singapore. Steve is a British citizen residing in France.
