About Quside
Quside began as a research effort at the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) in Barcelona and launched as a company in 2017, after its first product, a high-quality quantum random number generator, showed the demand for stronger randomness. Its stated mission is to research, engineer and integrate quantum technology that leads to more secure connectivity and efficient computation for everyone, everywhere.
The range covers two needs. For cyber security, the Ruby, Garnet and Nellite QRNG chipsets and modules and the Entropy Core appliance give enterprise applications and networks a cryptographic foundation built on quantum entropy, with SP800-90B certification on the photonic chip. For computing, the RPU One and RPU Cloud randomness processing units accelerate randomised workloads such as Monte Carlo methods and heuristic optimisation.
Quside is a member of the European quantum community and the Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC), and has contributed to European Commission Quantum Flagship projects (QRANGE and CiViQ) and to national programmes including Clave, Caramuel and QuSpin. The company runs a quality management system based on ISO 9001:2015 from its headquarters in Castelldefels, Barcelona.
