About Paulo A. Viana
Paulo A. Viana is a mathematician and computer scientist working at the intersection of quantum computing, post-quantum cryptography, and algorithmic design. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from UFPE, where he developed a Grover-based Quantum Genetic Algorithm to solve the MaxCut problem. Paulo is currently Chief Scientist at Quant.Bond, leading research on quantum algorithm verification and post-quantum infrastructure.
His prior experience includes a position as Quantum Computing Analyst at Accenture, where he co-authored a patent for a novel dual-unit quantum genetic algorithm for non-linear optimization. Paulo is also an active contributor to the Quantum Computing Academic League at UFPE, where he lectures on post-quantum cryptography and coordinates research in quantum-safe protocols.
Organisation
Quant.Bond is a Quantum DeSci platform enabling anyone to launch quantum and post-quantum algorithm experiments. All you need is an algorithmic trial to test together with the support of the community through tokenized funding.
Quantum experimenters can raise funding for experiments and retain usage rights to commercial implementations. Others can stake in promising algorithms or bet on which innovations will prove the most resilient or efficient in real-world challenges.
To fund an experiment, quantum experimenters launch a token creating a system of usage rights, commercialization options, or service-based monetization, such as Tokenized Usage Models or Patents for Derivatives, and sell it to cover experimental costs.
While the base algorithms remain open-source, optimized implementations or usage rights can be licensed, allowing the results to power secure computing infrastructure and commercial applications.
