About Gerhard Hellstern
Gerhard Hellstern is Professor of Finance and Data Science at the Faculty of Business at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart. He has been working on the application of data analytics and machine learning in finance for many years. These methods also include quantum computing and the quantum machine learning that builds on it. He has published several MOOCs on openHPI on the topic of quantum algorithms and is the author of several recent publications on applications of quantum computing.
Organisation
Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) is the first higher education institution in Germany to integrate academic studies with workplace training. Founded on March 1, 2009, DHBW traces its roots back to the Berufsakademie Baden-Wurttemberg. Today the university continues to carry on the highly successful tradition of cooperative education.
