LuxQuanta is a European quantum key distribution pioneer and ICFO spin-off founded in 2021. The company develops continuous-variable QKD (CV-QKD) systems. In March 2025, LuxQuanta launched the second generation of its NOVA LQ QKD system at Mobile World Congress, achieving 100km reach (20dB).
LuxQuanta closed an EUR 8 million Series A funding round in October 2025. The company demonstrated deployment connecting two Madrid hospitals with quantum-secured fibre optic links via Telefonica.
